Craig was born April 27, 1985, in Amarillo, Texas to Kelly Fenwick and Tanya Fenwick and became a little bro to his big brother, Brent. In 2002, Craig gained a bonus Mom, Melba, and a little sister, Stephanie. Craig was blessed with a nephew, Nicholas James, who he shared a rare and special bond with. Craig grew up in Amarillo and graduated from Randall High School in 2003. Craig played on the Randall Raiders football team and was a member of the wrestling team where he wrestled under the guidance of Coach Q, a great friend and mentor. Craig wrestled and placed 6th at state his senior year. He later graduated from the Amarillo College Fire Academy in 2017, where his dad, a former firefighter, so proudly pinned him.
Craig first met the love of his life, Bailey, many years ago at a neighborhood pool. Fast forward to a few years later, on New Year’s Eve, they locked lips and sparked what would eventually lead to the start of their lives together. Days before Bailey’s birthday, Craig got down on one knee and asked the woman of his dreams to marry him. They said their “I do's'' on June 10, 2017. They expanded their little family and became parents to their precious Twig, who was the light of their life. Later they became parents to their baby, Forrest Shark Juan Fenwick, who was Craig’s pride and joy. Bailey and Craig were like peas and carrots. Through thick and thin, nothing could separate the love and bond they shared. He was the calm to her storm.
Craig had the most magnetic and infectious personality. He had more moms, dads, sisters, brothers, nieces and nephews than you can count. He lived life to the fullest every single day. He didn’t waste one second of the life that God gave him. He loved with all his heart. This world would be a much better place if we had more Craig Fenwicks.
Craig is survived by his beloved wife, best friend, and soulmate, Bailey; his Mom, Tanya; his Dad, Kelly; his other Mom, Melba, brother, Brent, sister, Stephanie; nephew, Nick; Father-in-law, David Solis and Rhonda Rossman; Mother-in-law, Debbie Solis; Grandmother, Betty Solis; Sister-in-law, Mia Solis and fiance, Cole Sanchez; and, of course, his best friend and constant companion, Forrest, as well as so many friends who are family.
