Edgar was born Dec. 11, 1929, in Irving. He married Katherine Tennison on Nov. 10, 1950, in Tulsa, Okla.
Edgar worked for Texaco Oil refinery for more than 30 years, where he later retired. The things he valued most in life were his family, friends and his faith in God.
He was a member of South Georgia Church of Christ in Amarillo.
Survivors include his wife, Katherine Reeves; a daughter, Wynona Osborn and husband Kenneth of Mansfield; two sons, Steven Reeves and wife Dona and Cliff Reeves and wife Carol, all of Amarillo; six grandchildren, Clinton Reeves, Jennifer Ray, Tisha Reeves, Aaron Reeves, Tyler Osborn and Lindsay Seery; and seven great-grandchildren.
