Edith Pauline Jewell 94 of Amarillo, Texas passed away March 17, 2017. Edith was born October 30, 1922 in Davenport, Oklahoma to Marley and Bill Combs. She graduated from Davenport High School where she met and married Raymond Jewell. They made their home Amarillo, Texas where they had 6 children. During the last two years of her life she resided at Hillside Heights where she passed away.
Funeral services are scheduled for Saturday March 25, 2017 at Valley view Church of the Nazarene with Larry Dunlap officiating. Funeral Arrangements are under the direction of Memorial Park Funeral Directors 6969 East I-40 Amarillo, Texas.
Edith was preceded in death by her husband Raymond Jewell, 2 sons Jerry and Jim and daughter in-law Jennie, her parents, 2 brothers, 2 sisters, 2 grandsons and a great granddaughter.
She is survived by included 4 children Ronnie Jewell, Sherri Cruz with husband Henry, Diana Foley and Janice Cranmer, 13 grandchildren, 22 great grandchildren and 17 great- great grandchildren.
