Elmer Eugene O'Brien, 76 of Amarillo passed away October 28, 2021 in Amarillo, TX.
Services will be on Monday November 1, 2021 at Memorial Park Funeral Home in Amarillo with Donnie Conger officiating. Arrangements also by Memorial Park Funeral Home.
Elmer was born on August 9, 1945 to Eddie and Mary O'Brien in Clovis, NM. They moved to Amarillo when Elmer was young. He married the love of his life Stephanie Cole O'Brien in 1974 in Amarillo, TX.
They shared a beautiful love story. Elmer worked as a carpenter and Stephanie stayed home with their two sons Ryan and Kevin.
Elmer left a legacy of love, life and family.
He was preceded in death by his parents and a half sister Ruth Langford.
He was survived by his wife Stephanie, a sister Edenna Armstrong and husband Darrell of San Diego, CA. Two sons, Ryan and wife Carla of Amarillo and Kevin and wife Misti of Amarillo, 5 grandsons, 3 granddaughters, 2 great grandsons and many more extended family and friends.
He will be missed by both family and friends
