Eugene Pinkert was born December 29, 1929 in Wilson, Texas to Adolph and Adelheid Pinkert. Eugene quit school at the age of 15 to help out on the family farm. Eugene was drafted into the Army in ’51, and was honorable discharged in ’53. Eugene met the love of his life Dianna Castleman in Tucumcari, New Mexico on November 19, 1955. In his life he invested in real estate, several businesses, and also farming and ranching.
His favorite hobbies were hunting, camping, and fishing with his family.
He is survived by his wife Dianna; daughter Jean Anne Bostick and husband Ricky; 3 sons Tommy C. Pinkert and wife Tamme; Phil Pinkert and wife Susan’ Carl Pinkert and wife Linda. Seven grandchildren; 11 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
