

Graveside service will be at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, November 14, 2015 at Memory Gardens Cemetery with Pastor Jerry Davey officiating.

Glenda Lee Williams was born in Wichita, Kansas to Glen Scott Crabtree and Violet Johnson Crabtree on January 26, 1934. She married Henry Wendell Williams on July 24, 1954 in Clovis, Nm. Glenda earned her nursing degree from Amarillo College in 1972 and was one of the first nurses hired by Sister Olivia Pendergrass at BSA Hospice Life Enrichment Center. She also worked at High Plains Baptist Hospital and retired from nursing in 1991. She was a loving, caring, and selfless woman who will be desperately missed by her family.
Glenda was preceded in death by her parents and her husband.
Glenda is survived by a son, Russell Williams and wife Lisa of Amarillo; a daughter, Terri Sexton of Pampa; two sisters, Gloria Griffin and Joyce Pratt of Amarillo; a brother, Roger Crabtree and wife Mary of Amarillo; three grandchildren, Chris Podzemny and wife Tiffany, Michael Williams and Erin Hall and four great-grandchildren, Levi, Luke, Georgia Rose and Mary Alice.
In lieu of flowers the family suggests memorials be made to BSA hospice Life Enrichment Center.
The family will accept guests and friends Friday evening at the funeral home from 5 to 7 pm..
