Jess Jerome Williams

Jess Jerome Williams went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, November 7, 2018. Jerome was born in Amarillo, on March 5, 1951 to Jess and Dorothy Williams. He enjoyed listening to country music and was a huge fan of Dolly Parton, Porter Wagoner, Tammy Wynette, Loretta Lynn and Johnny Cash. He could play many musical instruments but was especially fond of his Dobro lap steel guitar. Saturday nights were reserved for watching Lawrence Welk and WWF. He was very proud of his very own WWF Championship belt. Jess taught us to love.

Jerome was a member of Unity Baptist Church in Lubbock, Texas. The family suggest memorials be made in his name to Special Olympics or Unity Baptist Church in Lubbock 507 Yucca Ave. Lubbock Texas.

He is preceded in death by his parents.

He is survived by his brothers Ron Williams and wife Sherri, Lynn Williams and wife Jeana. His sister Cindy Johnson and husband Lester. Nephews Jonathan Williams and wife Jenny, Nathan Williams, Joshua Williams, Gabriel Ramsey and wife Ashley, Jessica Ramsey and Andrew Curtis.
