Jody loved helping people. She was a member of Prarieview Baptist Church. She volunteered at Meals on Wheels. She enjoyed making homemade candy with her granddaughters for the residents at the nursing homes at Christmas time. She was a member of the Friends of San Jacinto. She worked at Park Central for 5 years. Her and her husband owned the Trike Shop of Amarillo. She was a former Alderman in Palisades. Jody loved garage sales, whether it was having them or finding them. She loved working with her hands, whether it was in her kitchen or on a roof. She will be missed by all who knew and loved her.
She was preceded in death by her husband David Cutsinger Sr.
Survivors include one son David Eugene Jr of Beaumont Tx; daughter Chantel McCown and husband Kent of Amarillo; Twin sister Jean Crum of Oregon; sister Alice Rice and husband Charles of Alb. N.M. Three Grandchildren; Sasha Hammarbeck, Amber Sandoval and husband Jimmie; Shasta Bowers and husband Jonathan all of Amarillo; six Great Grandchildren.
The family suggests in lieu of flowers that donations be sent to your church or favorite charity.
