

Joseph Langdon passed away January 26, 2021 in Amarillo, Texas. He was born September 10, 1938 in Port Angeles, Washington. He proudly served his country in the United States Navy as a diver for over 20 years. He married the love of his life, Jan, on February 21, 1985, and they spent many wonderful years together. Joseph enjoyed traveling, fishing, and playing cards. His family was very important, especially his grandchildren. They were his pride and joy, and he loved spending time with them. He was also a social butterfly and loved talking to anyone who would listen. He could build, fix, or rig anything, and was always willing to help those around him. He taught welding at Amarillo College and was a truck driver for several years. He loved the Lord and reading his bible. He has blessed so many lives and will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him. In lieu of flowers the family has asked donations be made to Washington Ave Christian Church in honor of Joseph.
He is preceded in death by his parents Frank Langdon and Sylvia Butcher Langdon; Sister Eva Carpenter and a Brother Lonnie Langdon.
Left to cherish his memory are his wife Jan; his children Janet Brooks; Ladonna Renteria and husband Eddie, and Lezlie Pendergraft and husband Garrett; his grandchildren; Christy Soria; Alyssa Delgado; Trey Pendergraft; Laef Pendergraft; Dawson Simmons and Jaden Brooks, along with 8 great grandchildren and many loving friends.
