Services will be at 2 p.m. Friday in Memorial Park Funeral Home Chapel of Memories. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery. Arrangements are by Memorial Park Funeral Home, 6969 E. Interstate 40.
Karen was born July 12, 1961, in Ottawa, Ontario, Canada. She graduated from Amarillo High School. Karen worked at Xcel Energy as a customer service representative and also worked United Supermarkets. Karen loved life, spending time with her family and friends, especially her children and grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her father, Grant Earl Norman.
Survivors include her mother, Joan Pearl Norman; her sisters, Heather Dixson, Lori Destrampe and Tammy Sykes; her sons, Brandon Flanigan and Cameron Flanigan; her daughters, Stephanie Detweiler and Robin Gebremeskel; nine grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
