

Loretta Ann Jordan 75 of Amarillo passed away quietly in her sleep on October 23. 2015, after a long battle with Cancer. Loretta was a lifelong resident of Amarillo born to Irene DeSierra and Earl Davis on March 9, 1940. She graduated for St Mary’s in 1958. She worked for Myers Drumstick for many years where she honed he salesmanship skill before moving with her husband all over the world as a Army wife. Loretta was a homemaker until she found her passion, recruiting and guiding young minds to college. Loretta was also part owner in the former Club Mayfair. Loretta was a proud member of the VFW Auxiliary and America Supports you. She was most proud of her work rescuing animals. Any animals form Ducks at the lake to turtle on the road. Loretta passed this love of education and rescue on to her children.
She is preceded in death by her husband Ray, father Earl Davis, mother Irene DeSierra, step-father Dominick DeSierra and brother Larry DeSierra.
Loretta is survived by her son Stephen and wife Ling ling of Frisco, Texas; son Michael of Fort Worth, Texas; Step-mother Winona Davis of San Leandro, California; sister Susan Angel and husband Donny of Memphis, Tennessee; brother Marston Davis of Hayward, California; sister Rhonda Davis of Oregon; sister in-law Debra DeSierra of Amarillo; grandson John of Frisco, Texas; three nephews, three nieces, many grand nephews and nieces.
