Lorina was the strong foundation of her family and community—a woman whose generosity knew no bounds. She fed all who were hungry, often opening her home to anyone in need. Her kitchen was a place of comfort, where her “magic food” brought people together, and sharing meals was her deepest expression of love.
She was a protector and a provider, living simply yet fiercely, always placing her family above all else. Her strength, kindness, and unwavering devotion left a lasting impact on everyone fortunate enough to know her.
Lorina is survived by her sister, Margaret Diaz; her children and their spouses, Eddie Ramirez and wife Dion, Archie Hunnicutt Jr. and wife Lisa, Jimmy Hunnicutt and wife Beverly, and Anthony Parker and wife Krystal, 23 grandchildren;Thomika, Barry, Candace, Sir Thomas, and Thomasina children of Catalina Lindsey, Candace and Esau children of Larry Lindsey, Gabriella, Imani, and Eddy Jr. children of Eddy Ramirez, Cheslee, Amanda, Kamrin, Elisheva children of Archie Hunnicutt, Kenneth, Hailey, and Alle children of Jimmy Hunnicutt, Michael and Isaiah children of Anthony Parker, more than 37 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandson. She is also lovingly remembered by her extended Almanzar, Jimenez, Ramirez, and Diaz family and cousins in Texas and New Mexico, one daughter-in-law Alice Lindsey wife of Larry Lindsey.
She is preceded in death by her parents; Catalina Almanzar and Luz Ramirez Diaz,one son; Larry Lindsey, one daughter; Catalina Lindsey, her husband; Archie Lee Hunnicutt Sr., brothers; Gilbert Diaz(married to Cecilia), Joseph Diaz, Benjamin Diaz,, half-siblings; Clorinda V. Jimenez, Evaristo John Jimenez, Gregorio Jose "Lolo" Jimenez, Elaine "Lalo" Jimenez, and Eva Jimenez,
She will be deeply missed and forever remembered for her warmth, strength, and boundless love.
