Marilyn Gayle Lightfoot, 68 of Amarillo passed away June 18, 2012. Funeral services will be at 10:00 a.m. Friday, June 22, 2012 at Southlawn Assembly of God Church with Rev. Jerald Middaugh, Rev. Jerad Middaugh and Janice Middaugh all officiating. Burial will be at Memorial Park Cemetery by Griggs-Schooler-Gordon Funeral Directors, 5400 S. Bell. Marilyn Gayle Lightfoot was born September 27, 1943 in Tucumcari, New Mexico. Gayle spent her grade school and teenage years in Lockney. After graduating from high school, she married Kenneth Lightfoot. Gayle worked at several banks and also worked as a bookkeeper and office manager. She took great pride in her kids and grandkids, for who she cherished greatly. Gayle also loved all her pets very much. She had a strong faith in Christ and passed that down to her kids. Gayle had a great love for life and everyone she came into contact with. She will be greatly missed by all her family and friends. Gayle is survived by her husband, Kenneth Lightfoot of Amarillo; daughter, Tonya Eddy of Temecula, California; sons, Kelsey Lightfoot of Salida, Colorado and Druston Chidester of Canadian; also by 6 grandkids.
