Martha Kay Morris Harvey

Funeral services will be at 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, September 29, 2015 at The Church At Quail Creek with Dale Moreland officiating.

Burial will be at Memorial Park Cemetery by Memorial Park Funeral Directors, 6969 East I-40.

Martha Kay Morris Harvey was born August 25, 1946 in Vernon to C.W. and Jo Morris. She grew up in Pampa where she married James Lynn Harvey on July 20, 1962. Martha served in numerous ministry positions including: VBS Director, Sunday School teacher, BSF International leader, Texas Baptist Men’s Retired Builders and Disaster Relief, Harvest Enrichment Center and Co-Executive Director of The Hope Welcome Center. Martha’s fondest memories and first love was spending time with family.

Martha was preceded in death by her parents

Martha is survived by her husband of 53 years, James Harvey of Amarillo; two sons, Mark Harvey and wife Gina of Amarillo and Kevin Harvey and wife Ann Marie of Franklin, Tn.; two sisters, Barbara Boyle of Sugarland and Jo Jacobs and husband Rick of Amarillo; 12 grandchildren; 6 great grandchildren; many nieces and nephews , extended family and countless loved ones.

The family will receive friends from 5:30 to 7;30 p.m. Monday evening at the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers the family suggests memorials to Hope Welcome Center in care of the Amarillo Baptist Association, 2123 S. Van Buren St Amarillo, Texas, 79109
