Services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday in Griggs-Schooler-Gordon Funeral Directors Pioneer Chapel with the Rev. Gary Brown officiating. Burial will be in Llano Cemetery. Arrangements are by Griggs-Schooler-Gordon Funeral Directors, 5400 S. Bell St.
Mary F. Farris was born Dec. 19, 1926, in Oklahoma, to Richard and Olivia Evans. She was raised in Amarillo. Mary was a housewife and married Tim Junior Farris in 1993. She was a member of River Road Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by two brothers, Richard Evans and Don Evans, and six sisters, Mildred
McCandless, Elizabeth Brown, Vera Brogden, Naomi Bailey, Clara Rodgers and Margaret Yarborough.
Survivors include her husband, Tim Junior Farris; a stepson, Lawrence Farris; a stepdaughter, Marla Holmes; several nieces and nephews; and a special niece, Brenda.
