

Mary Lynn Marsh, 91 of Amarillo passed away July 31, 2012. Funeral services will be at 2:00 p.m. Monday, August 6, 2012 at Memorial Park Funeral Home, Chapel of Memories with Pastor Corky Holland of First Baptist Church officiating. Burial will be at Memorial Park Cemetery Mausoleum by Memorial Park Funeral Home, 6969 I-40 East. Lynn was born May 24, 1921 in Wichita Falls to John and Lilly Gibbs. She graduated from the Texas College for Women in Denton with a Bachelors Degree in Interior Design with a Minor in Education. She was a member of the Delta Kappa Gamma Sorority. Lynn taught school at Coronado Elementary for 23 years, primarily as an art teacher. She was an active member of P.E.O., was a member of Sweet Adelines and was a Docent. Lynn was a member of First Baptist Church and also taught Sunday School for many years. Lynn was a very outgoing person and was also very artistic. She enjoyed china painting, embroidery, crewl and water colors. She also made jewelry. Lynn was a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and aunt and will be truly missed by all who knew and loved her. Lynn was preceded in death by her parents; and by her son, Neal Marsh. Lynn is survived by her daughter, Lynda Jacobs and husband Joel of Commerce; nephews, Chris Martin, David Martin and Mike Martin; granddaughters, Monique Vaughn of San Antonio, Megan Sweat and husband Tim of Lantana and Meredith Holland and husband Richard of Flower Mound; also by 3 great-grandchildren, Morgan, Parker and Harper.
