Funeral services will be at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, December 17, 2014 at Memorial Park Funeral Home Chapel of Memories with Pastor Ron Kohler officiating.
Burial will be at Memorial Park Cemetery by Memorial Park Funeral Home, 6969 I-40 East.
Mary was born December 1, 1936 in McLean, Texas to Andrew and Ruby Watkins. She grew up in McLean and attended high school in Shamrock. She worked for the City of Amarillo and retired after 30 years. Mary loved sewing, crochet and cross-stitch. She enjoyed traveling but, mostly, she loved a simple life surrounded by friends and family.
Mary was preceded in death by her parents; her husband Rodney Sutterfield and two brothers, Tom and Jerry Watkins.
Mary is survived by two sons, Lonny Sutterfield and wife Connie of Texarkana and Thomas Sutterfield and wife Debbie of Amarillo; a daughter, Andra Baugus and husband Marshall; a sister, Wanda Hill of Denison; five grandchildren, Bonnie McGuire, Tristan Sutterfield, Travis McGuire and wife Lillian, Mara DeRamcy and husband Chris and Sara Krobot and husband Kyle; and seven great-grandchildren, Kenzie Cook, Cameron Sutterfield, Madison McGuire, Lauren McGuire, Major and Wyatt DeRamcy and Riley Krobot..
The family will receive friends from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
