Mildred F. Ferguson

She was born in Roff Oklahoma to James “Jim” and Lorena Thompson on April 5th, 1925.

After graduating from Aubrey High School in 1942, Mildred married the man of her dreams, Noel Ferguson on October 10th, 1949. Noel and Mildred met in elementary school and were friends and companions throughout high school. Together, they raised 2 children: a son, Curtis and a daughter, Susanne.

Mildred loved spending time in the kitchen, creating delicious meals for her family. Mildred was very involved in her church community and enjoyed worshiping the Lord. Family, friends, and neighbors remember Mildred as a giving woman, who was kind to everyone she met and was always willing to lend a helping hand. She loved to volunteer around her community where she would help give food and clothing to those in need.

Mrs. Ferguson is survived by two grandkids, Alicea Ferguson and Sheldon Bramblett; and three great-grand kids, Jaira Draper, Mason Wise Ferguson, and Ivan Wise Ferguson.

Mildred was preceded in death by her parents, James and Lorena, her son Curtis, and daughter, Susanne.

A funeral service is scheduled for 10 am on September 4th, 2021 at Memorial Park Funeral Home & Cemetery in Amarillo, Texas.
