Mildred Ruth Kimball, of Amarillo, TX passed away at home with family on July 28, 2019. She was born in Rust county, TX on January 12, 1936 to Clifford and Ester Tabors. Mildred Ruth married Robert Jay Kimball on June 19, 1958 in Amarillo, TX. He passed away in July 1999.
Ruth as many people knew her by went back to classes and received her GED. She was a bus driver for Amarillo ISD for 13 years and also drove the bus for the city of Amarillo. She has spent the last 27 years as a demo lady for Sams Club in Amarillo. In her free time she liked to gamble and spend time with family and friends. She also liked going on trips with her granddaughter Angel and her husband Ben. She was a strong spirited woman and was a member of St. Stephen United Methodist Church.
She is proceeded in death by her husband of over 41 years Robert Jay Kimball, her parents Clifford and Ester Tabors, a brother buddy, and a son Clifford Hewett.
She is Survived by a daughter Linda Albritton and husband Roy of Amarillo, TX. A son Calvin Kimball and wife Connie of Brazil IN. Grandchildren Angel Roberts and husband Ben of Amarillo. Candy Greening and husband Chad, and their 4 boys of Amarillo. Becky Albritton and her wife Kim and their daughter of Dumas, TX. Amanda Kimball and her son of Amarillo. Kristen Mahler and her husband Josh and their two daughters of Minot,ND. Daniel Kimball of IN. James Hewett and his wife Mari and their six boys of Amarillo.
Visitation will be held from 5pm to 7pm on Thursday August 1st at Memorial park Funeral home &Cemetery.
Funeral services will be at 2pm August 2, 2019 at Memorial park Funeral home and Cemetery. The funeral home is located at 6969 E Interstate 40, Amarillo, TX 79118. Family asked that donations be made to the MDA.
