Nettye L. Moten

Nettye was born April 11, 1942 in Oklahoma City to William and Francis Smith.

She was the youngest child of 10, during her younger days she resided in Oklahoma, Texas and California. Nettye worked in restaurants, nursing homes dietary and her last career was working as a Pet Care Derma-tech, she loved working with the animals. Her biggest accomplishment was her family, which was her everything. Her Christian faith was evident in how she treated everyone around her. Her smile was infectious, and the grandchildren called her Memaw, many people called her Mom or Miss Nettye.

She is survived by her children; David Tallant and wife Patsy, Brenda Tallant, Terry Tallant, Johnny Tallant and wife Donna, Thomas Tallant, Karry Tallant and wife Lashonte, 22 - Grandchildren; Kristina Tallant, Stephen Tallant, Brianne Tallant, Charles Hawkins, James Tallant, David W. Tallant, Cameron Tallant, Kevin Robinson, Timothy Robinson, Thomas Perales, Shawn Tallant, Dalton Tallant, Rebecca Colyer, Donald Haskins, Kaitlynn McKinney, TaMysha Tallant, Kwavilyshun Cofer-Tallant, Trejan Willams, K’Tdriana Tallant, King Tallant, Londynn McDonald, Kambrie Bernard, 25 - Great-Grand-Children; Zoey, Ethan, Kai, Maddox, Alucard, Wildris, Bella, Elayna, Xander, Zeke, Xavier, Zach, Kyla, Abby, Stetson, Sterling, Sophia, Rayleen, Naveen, Isabella, Sabrina, Lennox, A’Niyaleigh, Am’bishun. Nettye is preceded in death by her parents and all her siblings.

She will be missed by both family and friends.
