Paul Alfred Calhoun was born on July 16, 1965 in Verdun, France moving to New Mexico in 1968 after his father was deployed to Vietnam. Graduating from Caprock High School in 1983 he became a very respected and well known expert on HVAC and commercial refrigeration systems installing and maintaining systems across all of Texas. Eventually he started his own company in Lewisville, Texas supporting all of his customers which included the golfer Lee Trevino.
Paul remained an accomplished musician his entire life playing bass guitar for typically a couple of bands where ever he lived. He was also a very avid sportsman hunting in the Panhandle and South Texas and especially loved to fish for redfish and snappers off Port Aransas. Paul was also noted for his show chili team called ‘Hooked on Chili Baitshop’ which won numerous awards over the years.
He is survived by his three children Amanda, Josh and Jesyln his brothers Ivan Calhoun and Phillip Calhoun and his sister Grazina Calhoun. He was preceded in death by his parents Glen and Lucia Calhoun.
