

Services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday December 22, 2012 in Memorial Park Funeral Home Chapel of Memories with Bill Gehm, pastor of Grace Church Calvary Chapel, officiating. Entombment will be in Memorial Park Cemetery. Arrangements are by Memorial Park Funeral Home, 6969 E. Interstate 40.
Paula was born June 27, 1954, in Memphis to Richard and Allie Mae Maxey and raised in Clarendon. Paula retired from Texas Department of Criminal Justice after 22 years of service. She enjoyed being a mom and, above all, a granny. Paula will be remembered for her wonderful smile and loving hugs. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
She was preceded in death by her parents and a daughter, Tamra Dawn Stoll, in 2009.
Survivors include two daughters, Maxey Nuss-Couture and husband Justin of Amarillo and Tonya Ferguson and husband Keith of Elgin, Okla.; three sisters, Richelle Culifer and husband Jerry of Tulia, Cindy Mayfield of Dalhart and Marsha Kirk of Amarillo; two brothers, Richard “Buzzy” Maxey and wife Kathryn of Sacramento, Calif., and Sam Putts of Dalhart; and her grandchildren, Justin Paul, Luke, Ciarah, Christopher, Brandon, Keith, Taylor, Clinton and Ashley.
The family suggests memorials be to Susan G. Komen for the Cure, P.O. Box 50610, Amarillo, TX 79159.
