Rex Rowland

Rex was born to Vernon and Thelma Rowland on November 8, 1939 in Oklahoma City, OK. Rex moved to Amarillo from Guthrie, Oklahoma in 1946. He graduated from Palo Duro High School. He retired from Owens Corning. Rex was a real Chicago Cubs Fan,he enjoyed watching boxing, baseball, football and shooting pool. He especially loved spending time with his 2 grandkids. He married Eugenia Knox on October 25, 1972. He was baptized at North Amarillo Christian Church. He will be truly missed by all who knew and loved him.

He was preceded by parents; Brother Max Rowland; Sister Jackie Rowland; 2 nephews David and Jay Rowland.

He is survived by loving wife Eugenia; 2 Sons Mike Noland and wife Kathy of Halcom City, Texas; Chris Sejkora of Palm Desert, California; Daughter Cindy Noland of Austin, Texas; sister Sharon Ray and husband Warner of Amarillo; Granddaughter Jessica Barrientos and husband Jose of Denver Colorado; Grandson Corbin Noland of Denver Colorado; 2 step grandchildren; 3 step great grandchildren; 3 Special Nephews; Jeff Rowland and wife Linda of Benbrook, Texas; Steve Ray and wife Donna of Amarillo; Ryan Ray and wife Erin of Florence, Mississippi.

Memorials can be made to Cal Farley Boys Ranch; Washington Avenue Christian Church Family Service Center.
