He was born to George and Gertha Cochran on October 4, 1934 in Amarillo, Texas. Robert married Gay Smith Cochran on June 7, 1957, together they raised three son; Rod, Bart, and Reed. Robert and his wife enjoyed dancing several times a week. Robert enjoyed spending time with his friends and family, and he enjoyed golfing.
He is survived by his loving wife Gay Cochran, two sons; Rod Cochran and Reed Cochran, 6 grandchildren, 3 great grandchildren, 2 brothers; David Cochran and Teddy Cochran, 1 sister; Veda Rodgers.
Robert is preceded in death by his parents, his son: Bart Cochran, two sisters; Frances Berry and Joyce Adair.
He will be missed by both his family and friends.
