Services will be at 2 p.m. Friday in Griggs-Schooler-Gordon Pioneer Chapel, with Chaplain Scott Willis officiating. Burial in Llano Cemetery of Amarillo with Military Honors. Arrangements are by Griggs-Schooler-Gordon Funeral Directors, 5400 Bell St.
Robert was born Jan. 12, 1950, in El Paso. He served in the United States Army and worked as a police officer for 25 years before retiring.
Survivors include his wife, Kathy Montanez; his children, Bobby, Eric, Amy and Angela; and 10 grandchildren.
