Roger was born to Clyde and Lucy Morris. Roger married Pat Lord on Nov. 24, 1993.
He worked for D.E. Rice Construction in Borger for many years. He was a member of Hutchinson County “Sheriff’s Posse.” Roger always had one friend by his side at all times — his dog Chubbs.
Roger loved playing with his grandkids and loved to spoil them by letting them have fun any way they wanted. He was a loving and devoted husband, father and grandfather and will be greatly missed.
He was preceded in death by his father, Clyde Morris; a brother, Jim Morris; and a sister, Pricilla Morris.
Survivors include his wife, Pat Morris; three daughters, Marci Kinch and husband Billy of Lubbock, Tandy Sparkman and husband Justin of Lubbock and Carlyn Dyer and husband Tarell of Pampa; a son, Chris Lord of Amarillo; his mother, Lucy Morris of Amarillo; 14 grandchildren; and a great-grandchild.
The family suggests memorials be to Panhandle Safe Hayven Equine Rescue Inc., 1809 Plateau Lane, Amarillo, TX 79106.
