Ruth was born September 29, 1937 in Alamogordo, New Mexico. She went to meet our Savior on January 7, 2017. Ruth married Dub “G.W.” Collums on January 21, 1956 in Alamorgodo. She will be laid to rest next to her husband.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Dub Collums and her brother, Rev. Fred Moore. She is survived by her two children, Debbie McCraw and Randy Collums of Amarillo; three grandchildren, Jason McCraw and wife Stacie, Toby Francis and Cory Francis of Amarillo and Michelle Collums of Smithville, Texas; eleven great grandchildren, Angellica, Addison, Annsleigh, Averilynn, Austinn and Annistia McCraw, Cameron, Caleb and Cyler Francis; Xavier Evans and Amber Cox; sister, Shirley Crook and husband French and a brother, Tom Crosby and wife Della.
Funeral services will be at 1:00 p.m. Saturday, January 14, 2017 at Lighthouse Baptist Church with Pastor Danny Lucas officiating. Interment will be at Memory Gardens Cemetery by Griggs-Schooler-Gordon Funeral Directors, 5400 S. Bell.
