Mr. Harris was born on February 9, 1944 in Duncan, OK to N.E. and Vasta Harris. He graduated from Duncan High School in 1962 and then went on to graduate from Oklahoma University in 1967. Mr. Harris joined the U.S. Air Force in 1967 and served until 1971. At the time he was discharged he had achieved the rank of Captain. He married Nola Nysten on May 26, 1984 in Amarillo. He moved to Amarillo in 1971 and started the AOK Camper Park which he still owned and operated at the time of his death. He was preceded in death by his parents and a sister Judy Taylor.
Survivors include his wife,Nola Harris of Amarillo two Daughters, Kristin Harris and Kimberly Garno both of Amarillo
one Brother, John Harris of Flower Mound, TX one Sister, Janet Curran of Burneyville, OK several nieces and nephews
