After her family, her next love was working in retail as the buyer for Ladies Sportswear for the Hub. Everyone connected with her and she loved the association with the customers. She loved going to market and always wanted to know about the latest fashions. She loved the trips to Dallas and especially New York and enjoyed all the wonderful restaurants and Broadway Shows. After the Hub closed she went to work at Helen’s Fashions, then Helen’s closed and she retired.
