UG Berry
9 febrero , 1927 – 5 marzo , 2017
UG was born on February 9, 1927 in Indianola, Oklahoma. He married the love of his life June Cooke on October 16, 1948 and they spent 68 wonderful years together. He served in the United States Army and went on to work as a Stock Broker. He loved doing upholstery work and liked to go fishing and golfing in his free time. UG was also a lifelong member of the First Baptist Church and was very active in the Kiwanis Club and Meals on Wheels. He will be missed by all who knew and loved him. UG is preceded in death by three brothers, CL, JP, and SQ Berry, and four sisters, Georgia Mae Roberts, Ora Lee Shepard, Mary Ruth Waddell, and Joyce Rollins. Survivors include his wife June of Amarillo, and one brother Johnny Berry of Red Oaks, Texas, along with several nieces and nephews. Arrangements under the direction of Griggs-Schooler-Gordon Funeral Directors, Amarillo, TX.
