Wesley "Wes" Allen

Wesley Logan Allen of Alanreed passed away. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, April 15,2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:30 Am at Memorial Park Funeral Home 6969 I-40 E. Graveside service will be Tuesday, April 15, 2025, at 11:30 Am at Claude Cemetery with Dr. Hal Rogers officiating.

Wesley “Wes” Logan Allen was born January 17, 1957, in Amarillo to Marion and Angela Allen. He was raised in Amarillo and graduated from Palo Duro High School. Wes started his career as an electrician for his father Marion at Allen and Son’s Electric. He also worked for Pantex as an electrician and was a member of the IBEW.

Wes was living in Alanreed managing his uncle’s ranch. He took great pride and truly enjoyed caring for the cattle and living the life of a cowboy. Wes also had a passion for fishing and competing in tournaments.

Wes’ faith in the Lord was constant and unwavering. Wes was without a doubt one of the most selfless, giving souls a person could meet. He took it to heart "serve others before you serve yourself”.

He is preceded in death by his father Marion Allen and his brother Herk Allen.

He is survived by his mother Angela Allen, his son Joshua Allen, brother Cody Allen. Wes’ girlfriend Trishelle Miller and his two close friends Brad Dalton and Robert Young. Nephews Mark Allen and Caleb Allen along with many other relatives and friends.
