   Jim Malone was a brother Ironworker, a good friend, an accomplished father , and most of all a quality individual. RIP "Commish"!

Words cannot express my sadness.  I consider myself one of the lucky ones to have had the opportunity to work closely with this great man the last few years of his career in the BFD.  To me, he was a mentor, a big brother and HQ's voice of reason, always putting the best interest of the firefighters first.  He loved the Department and the Department loved him. We will all miss him dearly.Rest in peace my brother.
