Ernie passed peacefully from this life the morning of May 5, 2014 after a gradual decline in health. He was surrounded and supported by his loving wife, family and friends during the last days of his life. Ernie was born in Artesia, CA and was raised in Hawaiian Gardens, and worked as a cabinet maker. In 2008, after meeting his wife, he moved to Pomona, CA surrounding himself with his loved ones, where he lived the remainder of his life.
Ernie is survived by his wife Olga, daughter Katrina, son Ernie; twelve grandkids; brother Felix and sister-in-law Sylvia, brother Ralph and sister-in-law Rose, brother Leonard and sister-in-law Cindy, sister Irene and brother-in-law Byron, and sister Vicky. Ernie is also survived by many nieces and nephews. Ernie was a man of empathy; he had a big heart, he loved everyone and is loved by many.
