Ernesto was born March 3,1932 in San Gabriel . He moved to Stanton 1946. Nicknamed Chapo, like his father before him and as his sons are now. Having worked in construction his whole life. Chapo would help everyone with making blue prints, setting up forms for the pouring of cement. You would ask him how much he would charge his response would be "have some beer and food for the group that was helping."
Chapo always standing behind his sister Kina while she was cooking over the stove giving her a bad time that she didnt know what she was doing. If you had tasted kina's cooking you would agree. Chapo loved his dog Dukie They were always together. That dog ate McDonald , drank beer. And was always by his side. If you asked him how he was getting home would always say Dukie will drive me home .
