Frank Jaquez Aguilar

Aguilar, Frank J. 1928 - 2016 "Heaven is now enjoying the sweet sounds of a guitar and vocals among the harps." Born in Imperial City, Imperial Valley, California in 1928, he was the loving husband to Angelita Stella Aguilar, and beloved father to Helen Negrete, Theresa Sharp, Stella Jacobs, Frank Aguilar Jr., Peter Aguilar and Martha Aguilar who preceded him in 2014. He is also survived by his brother John "Blue" Aguilar. He retired from Firestone Tire and Rubber Company in Southgate where he had been employed for 30 years. He had been active in sports, primarily baseball, volleyball, and had even coached Pop Warner football for youths. His passion was music where he played the guitar and sang beautifully. Frank will be missed by his grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews, relatives, and his many friends. Visitation and Rosary will be held Thursday, January 28, 2016 from 6:00 - 9:00 PM at Funeraria Del Angel Pierce Brothers Anaheim Mortuary at 2425 W. Lincoln Ave., Anaheim, CA and Funeral Mass will be held at St. Justin Martyr Catholic Church, Friday, January 29, 2016 at 12:30 PM at 2050 W. Ball Road, Anaheim, CA.
