I am still working at Household Credit Services.
I left the 63d when it was de-activated in December 1965. Elisted in the Calif. Army National Guard. My final tour was as te Army National Guard Liaison to the Dept of Defense Manpower Data Center, Monterey, CA.
I retired as CW4, 1 had many dealing with ARPERCEN in the development of an automated retirement points accounting system.

CW4 Haskell R. Beck (1SGT HQ CO 4 th BAT.27" 1 INF) CW4 Beck stated that his last assignment was as 1SGT of HQ CO, 4 th BAT, 27 th INF in Long Beach, CA. When the 63d Division was deactivated in December 1964 I enlisted in the California National Guard and advanced to the rank of First Sergeant E8. In September 1972 I applied for and was appointed to CW2 in the 40 lh INF Division. In August 1987 I went on an active Guard/Reserve (AGR) tour to Washington, DC with the National Guard Bureau. I finished up my tour at the Defense Manpower Data Center in Monterey, CA. I retired from the military in March 1996 when I reached 60.
I went to work with Household Credit Card Service in Salinas, CA. in September 1996 and retired from there in June 2004. I became a Tax Professional with H&R Block in December 2004 and still work the tax season from 2 January through 16 April of each year.
