

Iva Schreiber Carson was born on February 24, 1920. She was the middle child of three, having an older sister (Evelyn) & younger brother (Gene). Iva spent her young life in Montana, North & South Dakota.
She married Earl Carson in 1942, when he was drafted into the Army, they moved to Texas for a short time. Iva enjoyed the warm climate of Texas. She always enjoyed sharing that she worked as a car hop while living in Texas!! Iva always spoke with a twinkle in her when she spoke of Texas. When Earl went overseas, Iva headed back to North Dakota to be with her family. And there Lois Mae her oldest daughter was born. Lois was named after Iva's Mother "Mae", who she was very close with.
After Earl returned & family life resumed, Florine "Dolly" Evelyn was born, Florine is known to the family as Dolly. She was given this nick name from Iva's sister Evelyn.
In 1957, the Carson's headed west, following Iva's brother Gene to Santa Ana & Upland, CA. Enjoying the warm sunny weather.
Iva called Santa Ana home for over 40 years. There she raised her girls, worked at Hearthside/Gillette's Cafeteria & enjoyed her family and friends. One of her fondest memories was on Sunday's, taking her girls to church then heading to a movies. She always said that was her time with her girls!
Iva was a woman of great faith & devotion to God. A proud Catholic always going to church & a true prayer warrior. Her faith was her strength & she instilled that in her daughters.
Iva has three grandchildren, Tammy, James & Stacey. Iva so loved her grandchildren, she enjoyed time with them, when young taking them to Disneyland, Knotts Berry Farm, movies, dinners & of course church. Iva always had a close bond & love throughout their entire lives. Iva was an amazing Grandma, she loved them unconditionally and as a prayer warrior, praying without ceasing for them.
Iva has three great Grandchildren, Ashlee, Brandon & Leah. She loved & spent time with them, every birthday & every holiday right there with them celebrating another generation of family. She too prayed for them.
There's not a person who met Iva who didn't like her. Iva had a funny wit & an incredible smile. She was sweet & enjoyed chatting with people.
Iva's life was one of great faith, love & devotion to God, family & friends.
Iva is survived by her daughters, grandchildren, great-grandchildren & sister-in-law.
