Jose Alberto Delgado

Jose’s life was marked by his dedication to his family and his courage in the face of adversity. He met Reyna Villa through their parents on Christmas Eve in 2013, during a celebration of Jose’s father’s birthday. Their love story flourished over nearly 11 years, during which they built a beautiful family together.

Jose worked in landscaping for several years before taking on the role of a stay-at-home father while bravely battling cancer over the past two years. His love for his family was evident in everything he did, and he took great joy in spending quality time with his wife and three children: Ian (9), Isabella (7), and Isaac (1).

Known for his radiant smile and zest for life, Jose enjoyed playing soccer, indulging in video games on PlayStation, and sharing joyful moments with his loved ones. He also cherished the companionship of his pets: his two turtles, Kainky and Popsicle, and his loyal dog, Tamarindo.

Jose is survived by his loving wife, Reyna Villa; his children, Ian, Isabella, and Isaac Delgado; his father, Salvador Delgado; his sister, Socorro Delgado; and his three brothers, Manuel, Brian, and Christian Delgado. He was preceded in death by his mother, Epimenia Negrete.

Jose will be deeply missed by all who knew him. A funeral service will be held Tuesday, September 3, 2024 from 2:00 pm to 8:00 pm at Funeraria Del Angel Anaheim, where friends and family are invited to celebrate Jose’s life and legacy.
