Nancy Alvarez

Nancy Alvarez, a beloved member of our community, passed away on September 15, 2024, in Fountain Valley, California. Born on February 4, 1982, in Los Angeles, California, Nancy was 42 years old.

Nancy was the epitome of selflessness, known for her profound love for everyone in her life, often expressed through what many affectionately called her "reganadas" – a form of tough love that came from the deepest care. Her love was uniquely her own, and she gave it freely without expecting anything in return.

Her vibrant spirit was reflected in her favorite colors—purple, lavender, burgundy, and black. Nancy had a special knack for celebrating life’s moments, serving as the family’s party planner. She never missed a birthday, ensuring that each person felt special with decorations and cakes. Her dedication extended to her role as an aunt, where she created memorable holidays for her nieces and nephews, always ensuring they had decorations and activities to celebrate every occasion.

Nancy lived a life filled with grace and joy. She found beauty in the simple pleasures, and one of her favorite rituals was to have fresh flowers by her bedside, a testament to her appreciation for the delicate and lovely things in life. Nancy’s presence was a source of joy and comfort.

Nancy is survived by her parents, Gregorio Alvarez and Genoveva Rodriguez; her siblings, Daisy Alvarez and Greg Alvarez; and her cherished nieces and nephews: Ivory Alvarez, Annie Alvarez, Max Robles, Ruby Robles, and Iris Robles.

Services to honor Nancy's life will be held as follows: Viewing; Tuesday, September 24, 2024 at Funeraria Del Angel Anaheim, from 3-9 PM and a Mass of Christian Burial will be held Wednesday, September 25, 2024 at 10:00 AM at St. Boniface Catholic Church.
