Charles Edwin Weber, 78, died Saturday, February 23, 2013 at his home. He will be cremated and the family will greet friends from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. Tuesday, February 26, 2013 at Ankeny Funeral Home. Charles was born February 2, 1935 to Charles and Gladys Weber in Thayer, Iowa. He grew up in Lorimor, Iowa and graduated from Lorimor High School where he played basketball. Charles Married Doris Reynolds on December 12, 1959 in Winterset, Iowa. He worked as a Sales Representative for Taylor Industries in Des Moines, Iowa.
Charles loved cars and motorcycles and was still riding his Honda motorcycle at age 77! He enjoyed time at his lake house in southern Iowa (Sun Valley Lake) with family and friends - boating, jet skiing, and skiing.
He was preceded in death by his parents and an infant brother.
He is survived by his wife, Doris Anne (Reynolds) Weber, daughter, Kim Weber, son John Weber, and his granddaughter Ashley Bernhagen.
