Clara Belle Brown, 92, went home to be with her Lord and Savior on Monday, October 21, 2013. A Memorial service will be held 11 a.m. Saturday at Ankeny Church of the Brethren. Private interment will be at the United Brethren Cemetery in rural Madrid, Iowa.
She was born May 3, 1921 on the Brown family farm in Belmont County, Ohio, the third daughter of Rev. John Andrew and Eva Lee (Kirkland) Brown.
Clara Belle was preceded in death by her parents; brother, David Andrew; sisters, Martha May, Georgia Irene and Margaret Jane. Left to cherish memories are her brothers, John Wesley and Victor Lee (Betty) Brown; as well as nieces and nephews.
