Gregory Marion Ugolini

Funeral services will be held at 10am on Thursday, July 25, 2013 at Ankeny Funeral Home with burial to follow at Pine Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service.

Greg was born on September 8, 1964. He graduated from Ankeny High School and then attended Iowa State University where he earned a degree in Industrial Engineering. He continued his academic success by obtaining his MBA from Drake University.

Greg worked at KVI for many years upon graduating from ISU, then later moved on to engineering at Dee Zee Manufacturing. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and being with friends. Greg was always a visionary with a never-ending entrepreneurial spirit.

Greg will be lovingly remembered by his parents, Marion and June, as well as his brother, Steve (Kelly) and sister, Angie, all from Ankeny. He is also survived by uncles Ugo and Joe Ugolini of Madrid, and aunts Wilma (Bill) Smith of Ames, Angela Sailsbury of Ankeny, and Maurene Grady of Pleasant Hill. Greg's spirit will live on through the vibrancy of his nieces Brooke and Toni Ugolini and nephew Marcus Ugolini, all from Ankeny.

Greg lived a passionate life filled with a very strong faith and will be missed but never forgotten. He is at peace now at home with his Lord.
