Joan Marie Grady

A Memorial Mass will be held at 10:30 a.m., Wednesday, April 19, 2017 at St. Wenceslaus Catholic Church in Omaha, Nebraska. Inurnment will be at Evergreen Cemetery in Brighton, Massachusetts.

Joan Marie Urbaczewski was born April 12, 1949, in Boston, Massachusetts to John and Dorothea Urbaczewski. She grew up and received her education from St. Joseph’s Catholic School. Joan made her career as a Finance Manager with First Data for 35 years. Following retirement, Joan took a part-time position with Home Depot in Omaha where she currently worked.

Joan was a past president of the ladies auxiliary of VFW Post 669 in Allston, Massachusetts. She enjoyed spending time at the beach and socializing with friends and customers every day at Home Depot. Most of all, Joan treasured time spent with her daughter, grandchildren, mother, and entire family and friends.

She will be deeply missed by her daughter, Diane (Lorenzo) White; grandchildren, Tristen and Breckin White; mother, Dorothea Urbaczewski; siblings, John J. (Anne) Urbaczewski Jr. and Karen (Franklin) Wilt; and several nieces, nephews, and other extended family.
