Suzanne M. Wall, 49, passed away peacefully on Sunday, February 19, 2012 at Iowa Methodist Medical Center in Des Moines. Visitation will be 5:00 to 8:00 p.m., Friday, February 24 with a Vigil Service at 7:30 p.m., at Our Lady’s Immaculate Heart Catholic Church, 510 E. 1st St., Ankeny. Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:00 a.m., Saturday, February 25, 2012 at OLIH Church with burial to follow at Ankeny Memorial Gardens.

Sue was born April 28, 1962 to Mike and Mickie McGuiness in Des Moines, IA. The family moved to Davenport where she spent her childhood and graduated from Assumption High School in 1980. She went on to receive her teaching degree from Loras College, and her Masters of Education from Western Illinois University.

She married Brad Wall on March 31, 1989 in Davenport. They spent the first 11 years of their marriage in Clinton, where she was active in the community and taught Special Education at Clinton High School. In 2000, they moved to Ankeny. She was teaching Special Education at Valley High School, West Des Moines at the time of her death. Her faith was a large part of her life, and she was active in several ministries at the church. She loved being a wife and mother and she lived life to the fullest.

Survivors include husband, Brad of Ankeny; daughters, Emma and Grace; parents, Mike and Mickie McGuiness of Hayward, WI; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Wayne and Gloria Wall of Clinton, IA; sisters, Pam (Micheal) Douglas of Van Horne, IA, and Kathy (Don) Peterson of Apple Valley, MN; brother, Joe McGuiness of Erwin, TN; brother-in-law, Brian (Joellen) Wall of Clinton, IA; and sister-in-law, Kris (Donnie) Beard of Zepherhills, FL; grandma, Bernice Arvidson of Clinton, IA; and many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins. She is preceded in death by her grandparents, Cyrus and Helen McGuiness and Clarence and Margaret McDermott.
