Annetta Marie Irvine

Annetta Marie Irvine, aged 64, passed away Friday, January 3, 2025 surrounded by family and friends. Annetta was born February 5, 1960, in Ann Arbor, Michigan to William and Meta (Doneth) Irvine who preceded her in death. She was a caring mother, sister, aunt, and deeply adored friend and confidant. Annetta was a loving and devoted partner to Danny Edwards for 23 years.

Most loved for her for sense of humor, caring nature, and desire to help others, whether two legged or four. Never having met a stranger, she is survived by a large group of friends and family who will miss her dearly. Netta enjoyed spending her days, having barbecues, gardening, bowling league, traveling, and visiting friends, most recently taking a trip to the Florida Keys. She was always quick to check in on her friends and be a compassionate listener.

Annetta leaves behind her life partner, Danny, her beloved son Timothy TJ (Lauren), her brothers Dixon (Nancy), William (Tammy) and Daniel (Stephanie) and her sister Sandy Irvine. Along with several nieces, nephews, cousins, great-nieces, and nephews. Also surviving are her treasured cats Zara and Midnight. In addition to her parents, Annetta was preceded in death by her sister Kathy Whiteford and her cherished dogs Lucky and Kiddo.

Family and Friends will gather to celebrate Annetta’s life at a future date. As a registered organ donor, Netta gave in death as she gave in life, and her final act of kindness was to give the gift of life through organ and tissue donation.
