Jones, Benjamin Todd 3/10/1937 - 11/27/2017 Ann Arbor Benjamin Todd Jones passed away peacefully Sunday evening in his home at Glacier Hills Senior Living Community. Todd was born in Scranton, Pennsylvania to Thomas Todd and Mabel Jones. He moved with his family to Ann Arbor at the age of 7 and considered himself a lifelong Ann Arbor resident. He had fond memories of helping his dad on the sidelines of the Michigan football games, and was a huge Wolveries fan. Todd attended the University of Michigan as an undergraduate with a major in history, and went on to earn a law degree from the University as well. While studying law he met Peggy Langenbahn and they wed on December 30th, 1966, remaining happily married for 48 years until Peggy's passing in 2015. Todd worked diligently as a trust officer for Ann Arbor Bank and Trust which changed hands many times over the years, but he remained a constant fixture in the building! Todd enjoyed many hobbies, with an avid interest in Civil War history, and collecting stamps and coins. In more recent years he discovered his true passion in antique mechanical banks and amassed quite an impressive collection. Todd was known for his kind heart, quick wit and gentle spirit. He will be greatly missed. Todd is preceded in death by his wife Peggy. He is survived by his sister Mardeth Jones, his daughter Jessyca Poole and his grandchildren Zoe and Owen Poole. In lieu of flowers the family is requesting a donation in Todd's name to the Humane Society of Huron Valley or Warm the Children of Ann Arbor.
