Beverly Jeanne Giltrow

Giltrow, Beverly Jeanne of Ann Arbor, Michigan died Thursday, March 20, 2014 at 83 years of age. Jeanne was born on Friday, May 9, 1930 the daughter of Richard and Laura (Hoover) Kingery. Jeanne was a lifelong Ann Arbor resident; she loved to garden, travel and worked at Chelsea flower Shop as a florist for many years. She was also a member at First Presbyterian church since 1948 where she became a Deacon. A graduate of Denison University and member of Alpha Phi Sorority graduating with her Bachelor’s Degree. She was also a member of Chapter W – P.E.O., the Ann Arbor Thrift Shop, Farm and Garden Club, Huron Valley Swim Club, Ann Arbor Women’s City Club, and a member of the Dental Auxiliary. She will be remembered by her loving family as a very caring and vibrant mother, grandmother and friend. Cremation has taken place and her remains will be placed in Washtenong Memorial Park. A memorial service will be Monday, April 14, at 11:30 at the First Presbyterian Church of Ann Arbor. Jeanne leaves behind to cherish her memory, her children; Gregory Scott Giltrow, Carrie Lynn (Bill) Kaeter and Amy Beth (Scott) Chimner, daughter in law; Karen, grandchildren; Tom, Patrick, Emily and Peter, and her beloved doggie; Precious.
