

Eric Michael Wenger, 38, died accidentally in his Ann Arbor, Michigan home on March 15, 2016. He was born in Midland, Michigan and was a National Merit Scholar graduate of Rochester Hills, Michigan Adams High School. He attended Michigan Technological University and the University of Phoenix, studying electrical and computer engineering and business. During his early career, he was employed as a computer technician and space planning software specialist by Parke-Davis, Warner- Lambert, and Alatron under contract to Pfizer Global Research in Ann Arbor. For the past five years he was employed as a research technician by the University of Michigan and by Unity Labs Division of Fischer Scientific.
Eric is survived by his parents David and Tina Bowen of Charlevoix, Michigan, a sister, Sara Bowen of Ann Arbor; grandfather, Richard E. Wenger of New Carlisle, Ohio and father Terry Wenger. He was preceded in death by his grandparents Thomas and Jeanne Hoffmann of Rossford, Ohio and Angela Wenger of New Carlisle, Ohio.
A memorial service will be held on Sunday, April 10, 2016 at 2:00 pm at Green Wood, First United Methodist Church, 1001 Green Road, Ann Arbor, MI. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to medical research at the University of Michigan or to the National Wildlife Federation.
