Gail worked part time for me at University Litho in the bindery …. What a great and awesome lady she was … it blessed my life just to know her …. RIP my friend …. I will reunite with you one day …. Love ya .. Chuck  

I have known Gale for many, many years and the news of her passing was really had to hear about. My memories of Gale was she was a very good listener.  Like I told Gale in the past it is not only what people say it is what people do. Gale believed in doing the right thing and was extremely thoughtful to others she interacted with as I could tell her words were very sincere as she was a very caring person.

The two memories that come to my memory were our morning works that occurred prior to COVID-19 reaching the United States. During those walks we had meaning conversations about life. Gale taught me a lot just hearing about her life experiences.

The other memory of Gale was one day we talked about food and the discussion pivoted towards Pineapple. At that point, she told me about Maui Gold Pineapple are smaller and sweeter than your traditional Pineapple. At this point Gale told me while touring Hawaii she visited a farm that grew these Maui Gold Pineapple, Then I learned that each plant only produces one Maui Gold per year and the plants will last for 40 years. I found that story so interesting and I was surprised when she decided to order me two Maui Gold Pineapples. This was very gracious of Gale and something I will never forget.

With all the turmoil in the world with wars, mass shootings, political discourse Gale made this world a better place. Gale will be so missed and it will not be the same without her. My condolences to her family and the ones who lives Gale impacted and influenced.

With miles apart for most of our lives, I am so grateful for having had the opportunity to meet and share information with Cousin Gale regarding our Geneology.
Though it was years ago, I remember her determination, kindness, love for her family, willingness to help and share, and her over all great temperament.
Heartfelt condolences to the entire family from me, my brothers Scott and Fred Ries in Phoenix, and sister Patty Ries in Indiana.  Carol Ries Brown is deceased.

I met Gale in 1964 when we were starting 7th grade.  We were locker partners and this is where our friendship began.  We were good friends always calling each other and talking about music, school and boys.  Gale listened to the radio alot back then and she knew all the good songs, the artists, etc.  We went to The studio in Canada and we were on Swingintime which was a tv show with Robin Seymore as the host!  We also went to.my first concert and saw the Rationals together.  We stayed in touch sporadically since graduation from Belleville high.   Whenever we got together it was like old times.  She was a wonderful person and friend she will be sorely missed.  Love you Gale

My 1 regret is that i didn't think to take pictures of t he 2 of us together when you came to visit.  Gale lived down the road from me we grew up and went to Belleville High together.  I was born with cerebral palsey and walked back then with cruthes.  Gale was one of the students that carried my books for me from class to class.  i lost contact with her for many years as we both went on  separate paths.  But she found me one day while i was visiting my dad in the hospital and her daughter was in the same hospital.  Since then we've never lost contact.  We sat together at our high school 50th class reuion.  i am now in a wheelchair and don't drive anymore Gale would call on her lunch break or if she had a day off and say " barb i am comming for lunch do you want some cracker barrel she knew it was my favorite.  So here she came with my biscuits and gravey in fact i made that this morning in honor of her but not from Cracker barrel.  We have always been best of friends and my heart broke at the news of her death.  To her family i wanna say you had a good mother ladies and a good partner JR.  i will miss Gales smiling face and the many phone calls and visits.  Love you and will miss you Gale say hi to Sue and Richard up there in heaven.

I am truly saddened to hear of Gales passing.  She had a huge heart.. Family was very important to her. She will be missed by so many.
