Mitchelmore, Gwendolyn Jean of Ann Arbor, MI. age 78 passed away Monday, September 6, 2010 at Arbor Hospice, Ann Arbor. Gwen was born June 8, 1932 in Ann Arbor, the daughter of Francis Kenneth and Isabel Elizabeth (Lear) McNamara. Gwen was employed by the Kroger Co. for more than 30 years, rising to the position of Trainer and receiving numerous awards. Upon retiring Gwen traveled extensively as a member of Ann Arbor Seniors, making friends wherever she went. Survivors include a daughter, Jacquelyn Mitchelmore of Ypsilanti; a son Steven Pratt (Marion) and grandsons Nicholas and Christopher Pratt of Southgate; one brother Kenneth (Geraldine) McNamara of Lincoln Park; one sister Constance Smith of Spring Hill, FL.; and many cousins, nieces and nephews. Visitation will be Monday, September 13, 2010, 4:00-8:00pm. The funeral service will be Tuesday, September 14, 2010, 11:00am at Muehlig Funeral Chapel, followed by burial at Forest Hill Cemetery.
